The Power of Giving
Our Status To Date:
– Over 65 families supported
– Over $200,000 paid out in non-medical financial assistance for patients
– Currently assisting 24 families

In addition extra food and gas cards & gift baskets have been handed out to our patients to make the holidays a little brighter this year.​Made possible by our Partners With Purpose and Gina Arata who enlisted the help of Publix to provide food baskets for our families.

It takes a community to come together to help those around us each day.

This is just one of the stories of how it can make a difference to our patients in need.

“I am a 41 year old single parent with a 12 year old daughter I’m taking care of.  I was told in June of this year that I have stage 4 breast cancer which means to them it’s incurable.  Before chemo I use to work 2 jobs to provide for us, since starting chemo I had to let go of my second job from all the side effects from chemo. I have missed numerous days from my first job till the point I have no more paid sick days available.  Without Women with Purpose helping me pay my bills my daughter and I would have been on the streets.  I recently just had a mastectomy with lymph nodes removed and was out of work once again for a month and half.  I talked to Jane and without hesitation she said of course we will help you. Cancer already has you emotionally, physically, mentally and financially drained and when you are fighting cancer worrying about if you are still going to be able to provide for you and your kids, it should be the last thing you are worried about.  I appreciate everything this organization has done for me and my daughter.  The values and compassion that has been shown by Women With Purpose is remarkable.”
